Talk to Me Thursday

Class Interaction
I miss our class and all the fun conversations we would have about books and what we were learning.  As I've been talking to students I've heard from them that they miss each other too.  Please consider having your child use Flipgrid this week to say Hi to their classmates.  Students know how to use this platform.  As we move forward I will use this tool for interacting in an educational manner.  Here is the link-Flipgrid

Here are detailed directions to get your child started at home with Flipgrid if needed.  It should take two minutes to login and get started.  After the first time, your student will not need any assistance.  This is very user friendly.

1. Click on this link  https://flipgrid.com/zele

2. You will get to a screen that looks like this.  Click on Login with Google

3. You will then get this login page.  Have your child type in their username@stjoebears.com and then click Next.  Your child's login is their same login for everything.  Their "user number" and then @stjoebears.com

4. Your child will then type in their password.  All second grade passwords are the same Bears123.  The B must be capital. Then, click Next

5. Your student will be all set.  The directions are to say, "Hi" and tell something about yourself.  They will need to click on the green plus to get started.  I ask that they limit themselves to two stickers per video.  I'm sure they will figure that part out on their own:). If you need any help please reach out to me.
