November 18th

Wow! Sun, snow, mud...  It seems like I could say something about our crazy weather every day in Michigan:)  Please make sure your child is dressed in layers and will be comfortable outside for recess.  It is always a good idea to have extra socks (or an extra outfit) in their school bag. Ms. Hall will continue as the lead teacher this week.  She is doing an excellent job engaging and interacting with students.  Report cards are scheduled to come home late this week.  Please contact the office if you are in need of additional copies for multiple households.  Keep in mind that all scores are based on end of year goals for second graders.  It is common for students to have a score of 1 or 2 this first marking period as they may need a lot of assistance at this time.  A score of 3 indicates that your student is independently and consistently meeting a standard.  If you have any questions please contact me to set up a time to address y...

November 11th

Ms. Hall Ms. Hall has been working hard with our students.  She has slowly picked up teaching responsibilities since school began.  The time has come for her to be the lead teacher for a few weeks.    I will still be around and available if you or your child needs anything.  Please continue to reach out to either of us as needed.  Winter Recess All students go outside for recess.  Please make sure your child will be warm and dry.  Encourage them to pack and wear coats, snow pants, boots, gloves, a hat, and an extra pair of socks.  Students without boots and snow pants may be restricted to the asphalt when there is snow.                                                   Monday B Computer lab Tuesday C Junior Achievement Social & Emotional Learning Music, Art Thanksgiving Lunch...
